Leave a Maryland field alone for a few seasons and it turns into a thicket of briars, saplings and vines. A few more years and it's woods. Brush removal stops that cycle and gives you usable ground again.

We handle everything from a one-time brush hog of a neglected field to seasonal cutbacks that keep pastures, hay fields, ditches and right-of-ways under control year after year.

The arborist advantage

Why certified judgment matters here

Overgrowth is often a mix of invasives and young native trees worth keeping. Our arborist can tell the difference, so you don't knock down a future shade tree while you're clearing out the autumn olive.

Brush Removal & Overgrowth Control FAQ

What's the difference between brush hogging and forestry mulching?

Brush hogging is heavy mowing for grass, weeds, briars and light saplings. Forestry mulching handles thicker brush and small trees. We'll match the tool to your ground.

How often should I have a field cut?

Most open fields need at least one cut a year to stay open. Pastures and areas fighting invasives may need two or more.

Will invasives just grow back?

Many will try. Repeated cutting, timing it right and follow-up treatment where appropriate are what win the fight. We'll lay out a realistic plan.
