Fall cleanup & leaf removal
Bel Air's big oaks and maples drop a lot of leaves. We clear them, clean up the beds and get your property ready for winter.
Leaves left on the lawn all winter mat down, block light and smother the grass underneath. Come spring you've got bare patches, mold and a mess. A thorough fall cleanup protects the lawn and makes spring a lot easier.
We remove leaves from lawns, beds and hard surfaces, cut back spent perennials, clear storm debris and give the lawn a final mow. For heavily wooded properties, we can schedule more than one visit as the leaves come down.
What's included
You need a fall cleanup if
- Leaves are piling up faster than you can rake
- Your lawn came out of last winter patchy and matted
- Beds are full of leaves and dead plant material
- You have big oaks, maples or tulip poplars over the yard
- You're getting the house ready for the holidays or a sale
- You'd rather watch football than run a leaf blower
The arborist advantage
Why certified judgment matters here
Fall is the best time to look up. With leaves down, dead limbs, cracks and hangers in your trees are easy to see. During your cleanup, our arborist-led crew can flag trees that need attention before winter storms and ice load them up.
Arborist consultations →What affects the price
Every property is different, so we price after we see it. These are the factors that move the number:
| Factor | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Leaf volume | Heavily wooded lots take far more time than open yards. |
| Property size | More lawn and beds mean more work. |
| Haul-off vs. mulching | Hauling leaves away costs more than mulching them in place. |
| Number of visits | One big cleanup or several scheduled pickups. |

Fall Cleanup & Leaf Removal FAQ
When should fall cleanup happen?
Usually late October through early December, after most leaves are down. On heavily wooded lots, two visits often work best: one mid-season and one final cleanup.
Can't I just mulch the leaves into the lawn?
A light layer of leaves can be mulched into the lawn with a mower and is good for the soil. Heavy leaf cover needs to be removed or it will smother the grass.
Do you clean leaves out of beds too?
Yes. Beds, hardscapes, fence lines and corners all get cleared, not just the open lawn.
