Shrub & hedge trimming shaped right, timed right
Neat hedges, healthy shrubs and clear walkways. We trim at the right time of year for each plant, so they look good and bloom next season.
Shrubs and hedges frame a property. When they're overgrown, they block windows, crowd walkways and make a house look neglected. When they're sheared at the wrong time, you lose next year's flowers.
We shape hedges, trim foundation plantings, reduce overgrown shrubs and clear growth away from siding, windows and walks, timing the work for each plant so it stays healthy and keeps blooming.
What's included
Call for trimming if

The arborist advantage
Why certified judgment matters here
Pruning is pruning, whether it's a hedge or a hardwood. The same principles our arborist applies to trees apply here: cut at the right place, at the right time, and never remove more than the plant can handle. When a 'shrub' has turned into a small tree, we'll handle that too.
Arborist consultations →What affects the price
Every property is different, so we price after we see it. These are the factors that move the number:
| Factor | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Number & size of plants | More and bigger shrubs take more time. |
| Hedge length & height | Tall hedges need ladders or lifts. |
| Overgrowth | Neglected shrubs take longer than regular maintenance. |
| Cleanup | Volume of clippings to haul away. |

Shrub & Hedge Trimming FAQ
When should I trim my shrubs?
It depends on the plant. Spring-flowering shrubs like azaleas and forsythia should be pruned right after they bloom. Many summer-flowering shrubs and most hedges can be shaped in late winter or early summer. We'll time it for your plants.
Can you fix shrubs that are way overgrown?
Usually, yes, but sometimes in stages. Cutting too much at once can kill or badly weaken a shrub. We'll recommend a plan that gets it back to size safely.
Do you trim small trees too?
Yes. Ornamental trees and anything that's outgrown shrub size can be pruned by our arborist-led crew.
