Spring cleanup start the season clean
Winter leaves a mess: fallen branches, matted leaves, ragged beds. We clear it out and get your property ready to grow.
A spring cleanup sets the tone for the whole season. Clearing out winter debris lets sunlight and air reach the lawn, fresh bed edges make the whole property look sharp, and cutting back last year's growth makes room for new.
It's also the perfect time to pair with fresh mulch, so beds look finished from the start.
What's included
Book a spring cleanup if
- Winter storms left branches and debris across the yard
- Beds look ragged and edges have disappeared
- Leaves from last fall are still sitting in corners and beds
- Ornamental grasses are still standing brown from last year
- You want the yard looking sharp for spring events
- You'd like a clean slate before mowing season starts
The arborist advantage
Why certified judgment matters here
Winter is hard on trees. Snow, ice and wind can crack limbs that don't fall right away. During spring cleanup, we look for storm damage overhead, not just on the ground, and flag anything that needs an arborist's attention.
Arborist consultations →What affects the price
Every property is different, so we price after we see it. These are the factors that move the number:
| Factor | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Property size | Lawn and bed area to clean up. |
| Debris volume | A few sticks or a yard full of storm damage. |
| Bed edging | Linear feet of beds to edge. |
| Add-ons | Mulch, first mow and haul-off. |

Spring Cleanup FAQ
When is the best time for spring cleanup?
Usually March through April, once the ground has firmed up enough that equipment won't rut the lawn.
Should I cut back ornamental grasses in spring or fall?
Many people leave them standing through winter for interest and wildlife cover, then cut them back in early spring before new growth starts. We're happy to do either.
Can you add mulch at the same time?
Yes. Pairing spring cleanup with mulch is our most popular combination.
